cell cycle
Colin Brown and De'Quavieus Williams
Interphase
- 90% of the cell cycle
- its divided up into three different stages
- (1) G,"growth phase"-cell growth
- (2) S,"synthesis"- DNA replicate
- (3) G2, "growth phase 2"- prepare for mitosis
prophase
- the stage were the nucleus starts to disappear
- centrioles start to move to the opposite side
- the process by which the 2 daughter cells are made
Metaphase
- Chromosomes line up in the middle
Anaphase
- Chromosome pairs separate
- Chromotids pull apart
telophase
- start to see two new cells
- it starts to form a shape of a peanut
