Organization Spotlight: National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
One of the National Institutes of Health, NIAID works to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases. For more than 60 years, NIAID research has led to new therapies, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and other technologies that have improved the health of millions of people in the United States and around the world. NIAID will be holding a video information session for W&M students on March 29th at noon in the Cohen Career Center!
Alumni Spotlight: Matt Loftus
Matt graduated way back in 2013, having double majored in Physics and Math. He went on to be a Hacker in Residence at Hack Reactor, where he taught students advanced computer science concepts. He now works as a Software Engineer at Twitter, where he focuses on usability, aesthetics, and application architecture. If you'd like to know more about Matt or connect with him, visit his LinkedIn.
