TITANS HOCKEY GEORGETOWN
V1 SILVER
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2, 2015 NEWS
Here's the latest news for this week. As always, please let me know if you have questions or need any assistance.
Janet Stone
V1 Silver Team Manager
OFF-ICE PRACTICE THIS FRIDAY
Coach Meaux will run an off-ice practice this Friday night, November 6 from 6:30 to 7:50pm at Holy Trinity School at 1325 36th Street, NW in Georgetown. The coaching team will run the players through a systems practice in Holy Trinity's gym and a chalk talk in the upper school cafeteria. Pizza and drinks will be provided during the chalk talk. Players should wear work out clothes and sneakers and bring their sticks, helmets and gloves. (Entrance to upper school cafeteria and gym is at 36th and O Streets, NW.)
COAT DRIVE
The winter coat drive for Miriam's Kitchen continues. Please donate gently used and cleaned or new adult and children's coats by November 20 so Titans Hockey can donate the coats to the guests at Miriam's Kitchen by Thanksgiving. You can give your coats to me at any time and I will get them all to Miriam's Kitchen.
WINTER AWAY TOURNAMENT
Coach Meaux asked the managers for V1 and V2 to poll all families about whether they would be interested in traveling out of town for a hockey tournament either the weekend of Martin Luther King Holiday (January 15-17, 2016) or President's Day (February 12-14, 2016). No details have been determined yet; we just want to measure interest to see if there are enough players to field a team. Please email me with your vote by this Friday, November 6 so I can provide our input as V1 Silver to Coach Meaux at practice.
Have a great week and see you Friday!
