Library News: READ All About It!
At Home With Mrs. Noble and Ranger
Bently and Egg is written and illustrated by William "Bill" Joyce who is from Shreveport, Louisiana where he still resides. I have met him on several occasions at book signings and seen him out at various restaurants in Shreveport. He is one of my favorite authors.
Bently and Egg is a fantastic story about a singing frog who reluctantly babysits a duck egg. While egg-sitting for his friend Kack Kack the duck, Bently decides to paint the eggshell, but when the beautiful painted egg is mistaken for an Easter egg and is egg-napped Bently discovers that he has grown quite fond of the ole egg. Can he rescue the egg before it is too late?
Read All About It is a fantastic book about Tyrone. Tyrone loves everything about school but reading! When mysterious visitors start dropping by Tyrone soon discovers that books are more than just words on the paper!
I hope you enjoy our time together!

2020-2021 Bluebonnet List is Out!!!
The Texas Bluebonnet Award Program is a state-wide program for students in grades 3-6. Texas Librarians nominate 20 new books each year from different genres to be on the Bluebonnet list. Its purpose is to promote free-choice reading and expose students to a variety of quality literature.
The rules are simple...read 17 of the 20 selected books, give a brief synopsis of the books read, and come to a breakfast to celebrate you and your incredible achievement! Below you will find the new 2019-2020 reading log. You can print it out or secure one from Mrs. Noble.
