Health Sciences Academy
Opening August 2013
Welcome Future Health Professionals!
Williams High School will welcome its inaugural class of ninth and tenth grade students in a newly renovated academy setting within the historic high school building. The building, having celebrated its 50th birthday in 2012, houses a large, multi-room space for its academy students incorporating classrooms, labs, patient care settings, conference spaces, and more. Located across from the school's front office, students and community members will be able to see academy students working with Williams and Collin College faculty in interactive, relevant, and experiential activities incorporating many career pathways in health care.

What Makes Us Unique?
In addition to partnering with Collin College, students in the Health Sciences Academy will be engrossed in a wholistic high school experience. Students will be able to participate in extra-curricular activities such as athletics, band, choir, theatre, orchestra, speech, cheer leading, dance, and more as well as clubs and organizations. Options for on level and advanced classroom course work in core subjects are also available. Our students have a lot of school spirit and pride, and we are excited to welcome students to Warrior Country! Just ask Plano ISD's Secondary Teacher of the Year, Ramy Mahmoud...Williams High School may be Plano's best kept secret!
