Digital Citizenship

What you're like on the internet. What you do, how you act. Here's a website to help you maintain a positive digital life.

Cyberbullying

  1. Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once.

81% of young people think bullying online is easier to get away with than bullying in person.

Realationships and Communication

You should always make sure you know who they really are. Don't just assume you know the person. Ask questions and really learn about them, make sure nothing seems too off.

Never meet an online friend without going some in public. This way if it isn't who you thought it was, most likely nothing will go wrong.

Overall

I think having a positive reputation online is important because it will help you get a job. People will have an easier time trusting them in person. Social media is a great thing, it helps but also hurts. You need to be sure you're using correctly.
