PLC comes to NPS

This week a new initiative, PLC@lawrence.org was launched to allow our private school special education teams, leaders and contracted providers quick access to the district. Similar to a "help desk" the contracted facilitator will expedite educational questions to the proper channel.

Middle School Wind Turbine Wins

Proudly, Lawrence Middle School students represented Lawrence in the Cradle of Aviation Wind Turbine. This is an increasingly popular and competitive competition. Winners are:

1st PLACE- Team "Electricity in the Wind": Wendy Rodriguez, Kiani Whitlock, Daniel Morales, Trinity Mitchell
3rd PLACE- Team "Blow You Away" members: Xian Scott, Melanie Khordokovskiy, German Beltran
TURBINE PERFORMANCE CATEGORY (Power Output):
1st PLACE- Team "KC2" members: Chloe Schillio, Chiara Mingolla, Kressias Ramirez-Rivera
3rd PLACE- Team "The "Fan"tastic Duo": Aryana Borjas, Caitlin Reda

Enrollment Remains Stable

A comparison on the 16/17 enrollment to our opening 17/18 enrollment shows stability among the total student population. There is a transient subgroup within the stable total. See enrollment by grade and special education self-contained trends in the link below.
