Have you purchased your Yearbook?
The ACMA 2019-2020 Yearbook is still in full production and there is still time to purchase a yearbook to capture the memories of this historic year! You can purchase a book in one of two ways using a credit card or debit card. Due to current circumstances, there is not a way to pay for a yearbook with cash or check. The cost of the book will remain $57 for the rest of the year.
- Online Payment System . With the BSD Online Payment System you will not be charged a service fee.
- At www.yearbookforever.com. Search "Arts & Communication" and click Shop The Store. This site charges a $2.25 service fee for using this site.
Open Mic Afternoon was a HIT!

Have a "Awe" Moment
Awe is the feeling we get when we witness something amazing that gives us a jolt of joy. It could be anything: nature, music or art, or even witnessing a kind act. Awe can be found in the extraordinary like the Grand Canyon and in the everyday--watching your garden grow, dancing, snuggling your pet or noticing the clouds go by. Remember you can find awe in big and small things.
As always, you can just take a moment to notice what is happening around you, take a breath and be present. Let the awe sink in.

ACT Test Results Are In
Good afternoon Juniors!
Remember the ACT you took back in February? Well the results are in! Only problem is... I don't really have a good way to distribute them to you as they are in paper form. Some of you may already be aware that you can view your ACT score online. In cast you did not know how, all you need to know is your "ACT ID". What's that, you say? Good question! There are 2 ways you can find your ACT ID:
- If you put in your e-mail address during pre-registration, then ACT has it. Simply go to their website http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/scores.html and click "Forgot Password" when putting in your e-mail. This should automatically send your ACT ID to your e-mail address. If you did not provide your e-mail, you can get your ACT ID by calling them directly at (319) 337 - 1270. Press option 1, then option 3.
- Alternatively, district is going to eventually upload these ACT scores to Synergy / Studentvue and you will be able to view them there. I do not know when district will be able to do this though in light of the current craziness happening out there.
