Celebrated on February 23rd. It is a tribute to all of the Russian Soldiers from years ago till now, who defended the Mother Land from invaders . They receive presents and gifts from people

Russian Pelmen

Ingredients are-

2 c flour

1 c milk or water

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp vegetable oil

3 eggs

1/2 lb beef

1/2 lb pork

A stack of about 20 buckwheat blini, cooled

1-1/2 lb crayfish

1 cup sour cream

1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten

2 tbsp cognac or brandy

1-1/2 cups bechamel sauce

1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
