Ankeny Centennial High School - May 2021

Principal's Greeting

Wow! It’s May, Jaguars! It’s hard to believe this is our final newsletter of the 2020-21 school year. As we approach our final weeks and days, I am deeply grateful for everyone’s commitment to our students. As young adults, they continued learning, they achieved in activities, and they are more resilient than ever before. This would not have been possible without the partnership of our amazing staff and engaged families.

Let’s finish strong, Jaguars. We’ve got this!

Nurse Notes

IMMUNIZATIONS: If your student will be a senior in the 2021-2022 school year, they will need a Meningitis shot after the age of 16. A mailing went out in March to notify of this need. If you have not already completed this, please schedule this as soon as possible to prepare for fall. The nurse will need your student’s meningitis vaccine record prior to the start of the school year. Without a record of having received the meningitis vaccine or providing a waiver, your student will not be able to school in the fall per Iowa’s Immunization Laws.
