Plastic Soup: A PSA for the Ocean

In this lesson students will create a thirty second to one minute Public Service Announcement (PSA) that utilizes knowledge obtained from reading scientific articles, watching videos, and investigating internet resources.

In this lesson, students will learn how plastic toys, accidently dumped in the ocean, have traveled to faraway places. They will use geography skills to map the ducks and then engineer a solution to this real-world problem
