It's never to late to join the Granger ISD Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The first meeting is September 25th @ 7:00pm in the school cafeteria.

Back to School Special.

Yearbooks are $35 until September 29th, then the price will increase to $40.

Senior College Fair Thurs. Sept. 28 1:00-3:30 at Taylor High School

Granger National Night Out is Tues. Oct. 3 at 6:00pm at Granger City Park

Granger ISD students in grades 7-12 will participate in the CU4Reality Fair on Friday, October 6th.

Fall Fest sponsored by Student Council Oct. 28th. Details pending.

Book Fair the week of Nov. 13-17, 2017 in the library

Let the pie sales begin!

Students from grades Pre-K-6th gathered for a quick presentation on the biggest elementary fundraiser of the year. A big shout out to all the parents, teachers, and students who make this a success each year. We see you!

Raising Fundraiser Awareness

Senior Class Kona Ice Sales are 10/3, 11/7, 3/6, 4/3. All of these are the first Tuesdays. Time: 3:00-5:00

Cheerleaders are selling spirit ribbons, temporary spirit tattoos, Lion Pride buttons, Thunder sticks, pom poms.

Band is selling chocolate bars for $1.00.

Freshmen will sell the Battle of HWY 95 t-shirts for the Bartlett game on Oct. 27th. Sales should start the first week of October.

Granger Cross Country Shirts extended sale: $12 - $1 for XX sizes. Now due Fri. Sept. 29 to elementary office or Coach Samaniego. Make checks payable to Granger Cross Country.

For the furry friends...

Pets are awesome, but can be expensive to provide proper care. Dr. Graef will be at the Bartlett Activities Center on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 8:30-10:30 am offering low cost vaccinations. Please have cats in carriers and dogs on a leases and take advantage of this opportunity to keep our animal community healthy.

Cross Country News

Our cross country team traveled to Roger today and we came home with a couple of medals. Mikayla Skrhak took home 14th to bring in a medal in the girls varsity division. We also had a new runner David Juarez this was his first meet and he placed 7th in the Junior varsity division. All of the runners have been working very hard to bring down their total time and their hard work is paying off. So proud of our Lion runners!!
