Panther Tennis Team
The Panther Tennis Team just finished their outstanding season. They finished 1st place in district for a second year in a row. In the playoffs they defeated Little Elm 10-1, Burleson Centennial 16-3, and Burleson High 15-4. The Panthers fought hard against Abilene Wylie, but lost in the 4th round 16-1, finishing in the top 16 in the state. Congratulate the following athletes for a great season of showing Panther PRIDE and continuing our tradition of top level tennis.

Panther varsity volleyball team
Grace Koper entered the night 19 assists short of reaching 3,000 assists for her career. Koper ended the night with 32 assists which put her over this milestone. Jill Dickens led the way offensively with 11 kills. Ashley McKillop and Kaci Monk each added 10 kills. Jillian Dits would lead the way defensively with 22 digs.
The Panthers would have a short turn around entering their next playoff match Thursday vs. Mansfield Legacy. Legacy would take the early lead in the match winning the first set 17-25. The Panthers would rally back to win the match 25-17, 25-11, 25-17 claiming the Area Championship.
Grace Koper would end the night with an impressive double-double with 46 assists and 22. Jillian Dits would lead the defense with 29 digs. Jill Dickens would be the Panthers kill leader with 22. Avery Cimperman would add 13 and Mary Irion would add 8.
The Panther advance to the Regional quarterfinals tomorrow night vs Boswell. The match will be played Tuesday at Haltom High School at 6:30pm. Please come out and support CHVB Tuesday night at Haltom!
