Quist Weekly News
April 2, 2021
Principal's Message
Dear Royal Families,
We thank you for your patience as we needed to wait to finalize our CMAS schedule. We hope the document we created and sent earlier this week answers the majority of your questions about what these days will look like for your child. I have linked the document here for your reference. We also ask that you reschedule any appointments during this time, if your child is coming to take the test in person. In the aforementioned document and on our Quist website, you can see our testing schedule. On the days your child is staying home, we will increase our office hour opportunities. Our students will be able to access this schedule in our Virtual Announcements under Breaking News. It is not there right now, but will be there on Monday.
Speaking to your child about tragedies: If you find yourself unable to speak to what has happened, here are a few tips from the National Association of School Psychologists that may be helpful. Our mental health team is always available to support students. You or they can contact them by email.

Attendance: Please continue to call in your student's absences. All absences, even absences for remote classes, need to be called in using our attendance line, 303-655-6950. Thank you so much for your help with this.
We appreciate you and thank you for your partnership! We hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to enjoy the spring weather!

27J Online Academy Applications
27J Schools understands that over the course of the past year, some of our students have acquired a preference for online learning over in-person learning and would like to continue along this educational pathway.
In order to meet the needs of every student, 27J Schools has created an Online Academy to best serve the learning needs of students who prefer this mode of education.
If your student(s) is interested in enrolling in our new Online Academy, please take a moment to complete and submit an application. Only completed applications will be considered for enrollment. A separate application must be completed for each student you would like to attend 27J's Online Academy.
In-Person & Remote Absences
If your child is experiencing any of the symptoms related to Covid-19, please fill out THIS TRACKING FORM. For all other absences, please call our attendance line at 303-655-6950 Option 1.
