Updates

Hello again! Here are some updates!


1. Building wide equity teams have started to meet. If you would like to be on one of them, please email me or the facilitators for your building. Our facilitators are: Kerry Pillittier and JoAnne Williams in the high school, Lisa Menegio and Yvonne Perez in the middle school and Lisa Menegio, Thomas O'Leary, Michelle Maines, and Meghan Phillips in the elementary school. The middle school and the high school decided to do their first project by Walking Against Hate in Phys. Ed. Classes. The national Walk Against Hate through the ADL was Sunday, October 10th in different cities around the country. The elementary school is choosing to focus on World Kindness Week in November for their first project.


2. Next mentor meeting: October 12th at 3:15 pm in the middle school library. We are discussing Chapters 2 and 3 of The Innovator's Mindset.


3. We are gearing up for the October 22nd training on mastery learning. Thank you to those of you who signed up! You will be getting details soon! If you still want to sign up, please do so by the end of this week. The form is HERE.


4. Global Studies Curriculum PD- Preparing for the New SS Regents- October 15th.


5. If you have an instructional need for an iPad, please e-mail me.


6. We will be implementing two-factor authentication for all staff Google accounts. We will send more information soon.


7. If you haven't switched your laptop yet for a new one, please do so ASAP. Work with the techs in your building to make the switch. THANK YOU!
