What Is Happening At Lee School? 915.22
PTO Meeting Tonight, Lee Library 6:30pm
School Is FANTASTIC!
Ask your children about their day, being involved and excited about their learning encourages them to work hard and share! Here are some questions that might help you:
- Tell me about the best part of your day.
- What was the hardest thing you had to do today?
- Did any of your classmates do anything funny?
- Tell me about what you read in class.
- Who did you play with today? What did you play?
- Do you think math [or any subject] is too easy or too hard?
- What's the biggest difference between this year and last year?
- Can you show me something you learned (or did) today?

Are you wondering what is happening in your child's class this week?
It's easy to find out...just watch for a Remind message from your child's teacher every Thursday. These short messages will give you some tidbits of information about classroom learning and important information.
In addition, students will bring home Friday Folders on the last day of each week. You will find student work and school happenings inside. Just empty it and send it back to school, ready for the next week!
Being At School Everyday Is So Important!
Hello from the PTO board! We hope your children all had a terrific first week of school here at Lee! Thank all of you that came to our PTO Meet & Greet last week. We enjoyed connecting with each of you!
Please join us for our first PTO meeting of the year this week. We'll meet in the library on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 pm. Agenda items will include Fall committees, budget report, use of fundraising dollars this year, and the first stages of fall event planning. We hope to see you there!
A big thank you to Jessica Varwig, Katie Walton, Temple Jaster, and Emily Musser for volunteering to take on new roles this year as committee chairs for PTO events and programs! We appreciate your time and commitment to Lee students!
If you’d like to know more about opportunities for involvement, please complete the volunteer survey at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1RA2vNqLpo_eZSk-r_DISY-qBgxfUBUdhaic-uEDGJDc/edit?ts=629a4655.
Looking ahead-- Our Fall fundraiser gets underway next week! Next Friday, September 23, your child will bring home a fundraiser packet. Please take the time to look through the packet and follow the steps given. This will be our biggest fundraiser of the year and your support will be greatly appreciated!
You can always reach us at email@example.com or find us on Facebook at “Philander Lee PTO”. We hope you all have a great week!
