FRED Notes
Student Success Activities Day & Upcoming Special Events!
What are YOU doing Wednesday, September 16?
This may come as a surprise, but there are no classes scheduled on Wednesday, September 16th. This isn't a day of rest; rather it's a campus wide tradition for faculty, staff, and students to come together on this day to discuss and learn how to be better scholars and professionals. We call it Professional Development Day.
This is a great opportunity to do something extraordinary in the middle of the week. You may certainly want to use the time to study, get ahead on assignments, or catch up with friends, but you should also consider this day an opportunity to:
- Learn a new skill
- Feel more connected to other students
- Be creative
- Practice responsibility towards your academics or community
- Improve your personal wellness
So what are you going to do on Wednesday, September 16?
Before you answer that, please check out the amazing activities listed below! They are designed to help you become more successful, personally and academically.
All of the programs above are free for Fredonia students and run 1 hour in length unless otherwise indicated. Most of the events will take place in McEwen Hall.
