Bledsoe Teacher Highlight of the Week
Teacher Highlight of the Week - Mrs. Robinson
Teacher Highlight of the Week - Leigh Logan
Leigh Logan teaches 3rd grade at Bledsoe. After spending five years in the education field from a business standpoint, She developed a passion and desire to transition into a career that let her interact with kids through education on a more meaningful, hands on level. This is her third year in third Grade at Bledsoe.
Leigh is passionate about helping students develop their independence and enhance their love for learning. She is committed to bring her love for teaching and enthusiasm for learning into the classroom every day.
Leigh grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati (GO BEARCATS!). She moved to Texas six years ago and currently lives in McKinney with my husband, Jesse and our daughter, Taylor. Leigh is so proud to call Texas her home and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!
Bledsoe Picture Day - September 26th
Carpool Safety Tip
If your child rides in a car or booster seat, we recommend that it is placed on the passenger side of the vehicle. This ensures they exit nearest to the sidewalk avoiding moving vehicles and traffic in the outside lane/s.
Thank you for your support in keeping Bledsoe students safe during arrival and dismissal!
Don't forget to be a team player and join the PTA! A contest is being held between the grade levels for the highest percentage of memberships received by September 20th. This year, we will award THREE grade levels! The winners between Kinder and 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and 4th and 5th will be receiving a popcorn party! Don't forget to send in your form, or join online at www.bledsoepta.org. Thank you for your support!

ARTS IN EDUCATION
PTA Reflections Program: Within Reach:
“We’ve always been told to reach for things: Reach for the sky. Reach for the stars. Reach for success. Each of us then reaches for things in our own special way. There is a wonderful way you can tell more about that through dance, film, literature, music, photography or visual arts in the PTA Reflections Program. No experience is required to participate! Choose the arts category you’re interested in, create an original piece of artwork based on the theme: “Within Reach” and be recognized as an artist in our school & community!” Entry forms and guidelines can be found at: http://bledsoe.my-pta.org/ content.asp?PageID=27. All entries are due Friday, October 27 and must be turned into the Bledsoe Library. Questions? email@example.com
