ADL Charger News
October 19, 2020
Dear ADL Parents and Families,
Tracking Attendance in the Hybrid Model: Students are expected to show up to their virtual homeroom on all three of their remote days. Attendance for remote learning days is based on student participation in synchronous activities such as Homeroom as well as through daily engagement in remote learning assignments. For additional information related to attendance expectations and procedures, please reference the ADL Informational Booklet on our website.
Travel guidelines: With holidays around the corner, students and families are beginning to have questions about travel and quarantine guidelines. Please be sure to reference the State of Vermont website for important information related to cross- state travel. We anticipate additional guidance from the Agency of Education at the end of this month.
Student Transitions: We have been carefully planning for more student movement within the school day including allowing pods of students to move between classes on team. Our Chargers have shared that more movement during the school day would improve their In-Person experience. Frequent surface cleaning, proper mask-wearing, hand hygiene, and social distancing will continue to be critical strategies to support this goal.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wood
Principal
