We are happiest when we have lots going on! I was blessed to be joined this fall by long-time Point Higgins staffer, Ms. Becky. She fits right in!

We are busy throughout the day with classes in using the Library Lab, doing research projects, checking out fiction, and independent work.

* Trained (ongoing) our new Point Higgins librarian
* Created a new FCL Policies & Procedures Manual
* Planned and participated in FCL fall meeting
* Planned and participated in fall professional development morning with Houghtaling

TRAILS to Student Success

TRAILS: a research and digital literacy assessment tool from Kent State University Libraries. We are using this assessment with Mrs. Woodward's AK Studies students, as part of research project with a doctoral student in Fairbanks. The study will examine the impact of librarian-teacher collaboration on student achievement.
