Principal's Corner
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Hopefully, you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family. Next week, on December 6th, I will host my 1st Tuesday Parent meeting. This is a great opportunity to stay connected to A&T and provide suggestions for future initiatives. The meeting will start promptly at 5 p.m. Please use the link below to assess the meeting:
I plan to use this meeting to discuss strategies to improve our building culture and solicit parental support and feedback. The change we desire cannot come without accountability and clear expectations of behavior. We will discuss strategies to help our students successfully navigate the new obstacles that they face academically in the era of social media and impulsivity.
Building students' awareness of community support is an essential element to having a well-rounded student population. To help provide a sense of community awareness, A&T will be participating in a local toy drive to promote the gift of giving. The more we can make our students aware of their impact on others in the community, the more successful we will become in creating a school environment that appreciates acts of kindness and grace.
I look forward to seeing you soon. Have a wonderful day.

2022 Fall Play Production Showcase
The 2022 Fall Play Production Showcase will be Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00.
The play is called, "The Empty Chair", written by Tim Kelly. The setting is a counseling center for teenagers recovering from substance abuse. One of their peers, Robert, has just died
of an overdose. Accident or suicide? Each person speaks about his or her memory of Robert. The dramatic monologues tell us a great deal about each speaker and the terrors of drug abuse. This is a hard-hitting work with an emotional strong anti-drug message.
