As we dive into a year focused on Social Emotional Learning with our TRAC implementation, it is important to support your own health and wellbeing. We began that work during our leadership retreat, but it can easily get pushed aside as the busy year begins. If you are working to build more mindful habits, or greater self care, consider some of the following resources:
- For a little giggle, check out the fun video clip from Inside Out below.

Amy Illingworth
- I am originally from New Jersey, but I have lived in 3 states and 2 countries throughout my life.
- I do not have any children of my own, but I have many nephews that I am very close to and thousands of children I have taught or hoped to make a positive impact on throughout my career.
- I love going to concerts and musicals and shows! I have seen one particular group in concert 15 times (starting in 1989 and continuing up until this summer!). Get to know me to find out who they are!
- I love to travel. Some of my favorite vacations have included: Costa Rica, Australia, South Africa for a safari, and Italy. Ask me about how giraffes fight or the 15 foot great white shark I saw while cage diving!
