Dear Families, Parents, and Caregivers of Cedar Rapids Community School District,
We hope this email finds you enjoying the 2018/2019 school year. Each day, we are excited for your student(s) to come to school! They are the reason we do what we do. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Many of you have asked for trainings on behavior over the last few years. This year, our district has created a Parent Learning Partnership! Our staff will offer trainings in the area of behavior. The details are below:
Topic: Behavior 101:This training will focus on an overview of behavior that includes the ABCs of behavior and practical strategies that can be used with all types of behavior. There will also be a question & answer session at the end.

Help HACAP Paint Affordable Housing Units
WHO: Team of 8-12 individuals from an organization/company
WHAT: Help our HACAP Affordable Housing Team paint three of our housing units so that we can fill the unit with clients in need of a home.
WHEN: 4 hour shift, anytime between regular business hours 8:00am-5:00pm
WHERE: 1225 2nd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403

Can you believe it?! Summer camp planning is here and dates are posted on the University of Iowa's Jacobson Institute NEW WEBSITE. Registration for summer entrepreneurship camps will go live on Feb. 1.
