Cascade High School News
Thank you to all of our students, parents, and staff for supporting new procedures that we have necessarily implemented in order to begin and remain successfully in school for the first month of the school year. Cascade High School appreciates everyone for adapting to new protocols so that we can be here for in-person learning. We are very proud of our students for following safety protocols during the school day, and for doing everything that has been asked of them to have a successful first month of school. Thank you also to our athletic director, coaches, athletes, and parents who have worked hard to keep a safe environment for our students to participate in extra-curricular activities.
Students who are planning to drive to school will need a parking permit to display in their windshield. Students can pick up a parking permit application in the office. The application will need to be filled out and signed by student and parent. Parking permits are $1 and only need to be purchased one time during a student's high school career.
Mark Austin - Head Custodian
Cascade High School welcomes Mark Austin as our new Head Custodian. Mr. Austin leads the custodial team that keeps Cascade High School looking great on a daily basis. We consistently receive compliments on how nice our building and facilities look. Our custodial staff takes pride in Cascade High School and keeping it clean and looking fantastic. We also welcome Cindy Akers as one of our new custodians. Thank you Mr. Austin and the custodial team for your contributions to making Cascade High School a wonderful place.
Although we are currently limited to having essential volunteers only, we still need to have those individuals complete a volunteer form and be approved by the school board before they volunteer in our building. Many parents completed volunteer forms during the registration process. The last day to turn in a volunteer form for first semester is Friday, September 4th. If you think you will be volunteering for anything at our school during first semester and you have not completed the form, please make sure you do so by Friday. The form can be found in your Powerschool Parent Portal under Forms. You can e-mail the completed form to Amber Creek at acreek.mccsc.k12.in.us

Cascade High School is thankful that fall athletic events have been able to proceed and our student-athletes have been participating in their sports.
