Dual Degree Informational Meeting
October 12, 2023 • 7:00 p.m. at Woodstock High School
Welcome
We are excited to host our annual Dual Degree Informational Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Woodstock High School.
Parents, if you have a student who plans to attend a college or a university after graduating high school, this program may be a great option to get a jumpstart on this process. Last year, 21 District 200 students graduated from McHenry County College (MCC) with their Associate's Degree before earning their high school diploma. This program proved to be a great head start for these students and helped lessen their families' college costs. Please attend our informational meeting if you would like to learn more about this program to see if it's a good fit for your student. More info on the Dual Degree Program and meeting is available below.
Sincerely,
Justin Smith

What is the Dual Degree Program?
The Dual Degree Program is an early college program created through a collaborative partnership between McHenry County College (MCC) and Woodstock Community Unit School District 200. The program provides academically motivated students enrolled in District 200 an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate of arts degree simultaneously. During their four years of school, students will take a combination of Dual Credit courses offered through District 200 at each high school and MCC courses offered at the McHenry County College campus.
