On Monday, February 29 we will begin our first round of ISTEP testing.
This portion includes:
Reading-Multiple reading passages and constructed responses
Math-Problem solving with writing portion
Writing-Extended responses to reading passages
All sections of ISTEP will be timed. Anything not finished cannot be completed at a later time.

What's happening this week in Room 512!
We are beginning our Measurement unit. This includes measuring to the nearest inch, half inch, and quarter inch. In addition, we will learn units of length, capacity, and weight.
Please encourage studying math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) at home. If you are unsure what facts your child should be studying, please email me. I can also print out flashcards to study at home.
We are continuing test writing to better prepare for the ISTEP test starting Monday, February 29.
