E. coli In Humans!!
Escherichia coli or known as E. coli, is a bacteria that lives in the digestive track. E coli helps humans digest certain foods, such as vitamin K, and foods we cannot digest. There are over 700 types of E.coli and most of them are very beneficial to the human body.
Mutualism or Parasitism?
E. coli is very beneficial to the human body, but there are types of E. coli that can harm the body. This happens when certain types of E. coli leaves the digestive track into the bloodstream. E. coli can cause diarrhea, urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, and other illnesses.
