Middle and High School Siblings (Pickup)

Middle and High School students are NOT allowed on school property until 3:35 PM on full days and 11:45 AM on half days. Any students on school property prior to this designated time will be considering trespassing and will be asked to leave until the allotted time.

If any parent pickup adults have concerns about MS and HS siblings causing disruptions during pickup times please let the front office know immediately.

Parking Lot Drop-Off and Pick-Up Lane

Just a reminder, the drop-off/pick-up lane is not to be used for parking your car or getting out of your vehicle. This lane is designed for pick-up and drop-off at the curb, and for you to continue on. Please be respectful of the intention of this lane, and do not get out of your vehicle if in this lane.

If you do intend to leave your vehicle please find a parking spot, cross at a crosswalk, and pick up your student at their student doors. The crosswalks, parking lot, and pick-up/drop-off lane are specifically designed to create a safe environment for our entire community. By using the lot as it is intended we prevent accidents and injuries from occurring.

Holiday Help 2023

Hello Ojibwa Families!

The Good Shepard Coalition has been providing holiday help to families in need at Ojibwa and other Macomb County Schools. The deadline for participation in this program for the 2023 Holiday Season is fast approaching! If your family is in need of holiday help this year please reach out to Ojibwa’s School Social Worker, Lisa Russo, by September 25, 2023 to request a referral. Additionally, we ask that you complete the free and reduced lunch application as soon as possible. While all students are able to receive free breakfast and lunch at school this year, completing the Free/Reduced Lunch application helps us to identify needs and better distribute resources. Completing this application enables you to be considered for ongoing resources and supports that may become available.

If you have any questions, you can reach Lisa Russo, SSW at (586) 723-6433 or through email at LRusso@cvs.k12.mi.us.

NEW FRONT OFFICE PROTOCOL

Something new for this year is that student early dismissals will not be permitted after 3:15 PM.

With the challenges that our traffic patterns pose and the importance of maintaining a safe and secure campus at the end of the school day, it is important that we do not have students leaving the building in the final minutes of the day before dismissal. We thank everyone in advance for planning accordingly in terms of scheduling appointments and other commitments in a manner that will not conflict with this policy.
