Dear Stonybrook Families,
On Wednesday, February 5th from 6:30-8:00 PM, Stonybrook Middle School will host a 21st Century Scholars Night for all Warren Township Families of current 7th and 8th graders. Students accepted into the program are awarded money to pay their college tuition. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is June 30th before the start of 9th grade. Avoid waiting until the last minute to sign up your child by taking advantage of this great opportunity to get support and assistance while completing the application process.
If you have any questions about the 21st Century Scholar Night, please do not hesitate to reach out to 7th grade counselor, Mrs. Nicholson or 8th grade counselor, Mr. James.

Attention 7th Grade Parents!
SIMS will be conducting the abstinence-based program Making A Difference with our 7th grade scholars during the month of April. Permission slips will be sent home on Monday, Feb. 3rd with scholars. It is imperative that you read over the permission form, sign and return it to school with your child by Friday, Feb. 14th. We must know whether you wish for your child to take part in the program or decline instruction. Thank you in advance for reading over and making sure your child returns their signed permission form.
As the weather becomes increasingly colder, it is important to review our morning drop-off procedures.
- Students are not able to enter the building until 8:35 a.m. This is the earliest we can guarantee appropriate adult supervision.
- Students should NOT be dropped off prior to 8:35 a.m. each day; if they are, they will be standing in cold temperatures until staff supervision arrives and students are let in to the cafeteria.
