AP Language Reminders
for students and parents
The school year is 1/8 finished already! How'd that happen?
You should have received a progress report last week. If you didn't, please contact me at amanda.feldmann@sccpss.com and I will be sure to send one to you.
LATE WORK POLICY
It's imperative that you adhere to deadlines and turn in your assignments on time. Here is the late work policy for this course:
- If an assignment is one school day late, you will receive a 10% penalty on that assignment.
- If an assignment is two school days late, you will receive a 20% penalty on that assignment. Three school days late will receive a 30% penalty, and so on.
- IF AN ASSIGNMENT IS MORE THAN FIVE SCHOOL DAYS LATE, YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO ON THAT ASSIGNMENT AND WILL NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE UP THAT ASSIGNMENT.
Everything's an Argument
By now you should have [at least] ordered and [hopefully] received your Everything's an Argument textbook. This assignment was a grade in the gradebook, so please make sure you have it. We will start working from the text this week.
If you still have not purchased your textbook, or are having trouble doing so, please contact me and I will do my best to help.
Remember that it's the FOURTH edition of the book, with readings.
