Dear Ben Franklin Parents and Caregivers,
Last Friday was our PTO sponsored Walk-a-thon. Thank you for the generous donations for our Walk-a-thon! We exceeded our goals and the kids worked incredibly hard to add up laps on Friday! The funds raised will be used to continue to grow classroom libraries and finance other exciting projects for our students!
As stated in the Franklin Find and in a follow up letter to each of you, it was stated that we are inching higher with our positive cases at Ben Franklin. We continue to encourage social distancing when possible, handwashing and hand sanitizing. As I walk through the building, I see kids are doing a great job at keeping their masks on-another great defense to stop the spread of infections.. This is great news! Thank you for all the reminders that you give, as this helps make our work easier to do!
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Mary Shannon

BUS REMINDERS
Bus Driver Shortage: Please review this document that we shared on August 31 with all families to make you aware of how a bus driver shortage could impact our bus routes and how we will communicate this with you in the event we can not secure a driver for your child’s route.
Bus Riders Wear Masks: Any individual on a school bus (or any public transportation) is federally required to wear a mask. Please make sure your student has a mask before heading to the bus. Even if students are choosing not to wear a mask while at school, a mask must be worn on the bus at all times. Thank you.
Need a Bus Change or Addition? If you have any additions or changes needed for the busing of your child, please use this Bus Change or Addition Form.
