In Memory of Brian Scott Brandt
SEPTEMBER 1, 1968 – APRIL 22, 2020
My Beloved Son, Brian Scott Brandt, age 51, of Bedford, Texas was called to Heaven on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Brian was born on September 1, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio. He moved to Bedford, Texas in 1998, where he joined St. Michael's Catholic Church and later became a proud employee of the YMCA. Brian was a wonderful, kind and caring soul with a great sense of humor and he loved to laugh and have fun with his family, friends and co-workers. I was blessed to have Brian as my son. May he rest in the arms of our Lord. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by mother, Audrey J. Waite-Brandt of Bedford Texas; loving uncle, Michael A. Waite of Toledo, Ohio and other loving family members Chris and Georgia Rongakis of Sylvania, Ohio, Jim and Victoria Rongakis of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Matthew and Leah Simko and their children, Jackson and Olivia all of Toledo, Ohio.
I am the resurrection and the life; Those who believe in me, though they die, will live; and everyone who lives and believes in ME will never die. John 11: 25-26
A Memorial Service for Brian will be set at a later date

Saint Isidore: Patron saint of farmers.
Feast day May 15.
Born 1070 Madrid, Spain. Died May 15, 1130. .
Many implications can be found in a simple laborer achieving sainthood: Physical labor has dignity; sainthood does not stem from status; contemplation does not depend on learning; the simple life is conducive to holiness and happiness. Legends about angel helpers and mysterious oxen indicate that his work was not neglected and his duties did not go unfulfilled.
During his lifetime, Isidore had the gift of miracles. If he was late for work because he went to Mass, and angel was seen plowing for him. More than once he fed hungry people with food that seemed to multiply miraculously. He died after a peaceful life of hard labor and charity.
