Welcome Back
January 2022
Dear Families
Below are some reminders and key websites that you may wish to have handy (for the most up-to-date and detailed information, please consult the LDSB website):
- All students (Kindergarten - Grade 12) must continue to wear a mask while in the school and at recess (please note: neck gaiters are no longer allowed). Students who would like a reusable 3-layer cloth mask will be provided with one; we also ensure that students whose mask is soiled or lost during the school day receive a replacement.
- Daily COVID-19 Screening Tool has been updated: all staff and students must continue to screen for symptoms each day, and isolate when indicated: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/ (Please see detailed graphics below about the protocols that need to be followed if your child develops COVID-19 symptoms either at home or while at school)

Inclement Weather
Winter weather may result in bus cancellations or delays. Families should ensure they are signed up to receive direct notifications, either by email, or Tri-Board’s app. Delays and cancellations are also posted to Tri-Board’s Twitter account. Please have a back-up plan and transportation home if your child's bus is cancelled! A reminder that supervision of students is not available until 8:55 am. Please do not drop off your child at school before that time. If your child will not be attending school on a bus cancellation day, please submit their absence through Safe Arrival, indicating inclement weather for regular walkers or bus cancellation.
