Scott Heins teaches Animal Science and Animal Husbandry at MHHS! We love his hands-on approach with his sheep and his beautiful horses! The horses are pictured here along with a former student!
Carly Grant teaches Geology, Astronomy, and Earth Sciences! Her favorite type of rock is Igneous Rock because it comes from volcanoes, and "Volcanoes are my thing!"
Zelma Woodward teaches Biology, Botany, Environment Science, Physical Science, and Life Time Sports. In Botany, she grows adorable little tiny plants. She is working on hydroponics in the classroom for her next botany course!

Welcome back to another great year for our school. We have been in classes now for sometime and hopefully you are settled in and have your routine established. With the help from your instructors, you will find a chance to succeed as you give them your time and attention. They are interested in your academic goals and are there to help you achieve them.
This is also a welcome to our parents and families, and we hope you will take the chance to get involved with your student’s activities. There are several activities that we would love to see the parents involved in, and it gives the kids a chance to showcase their talents. They work hard to share what they can do. Our support plays a big role in this.
Further involvement in their academic activity is also something we can give attention to. As we encourage our children with their studies, their attendance, and giving attention to their instructors, it will go a long way in helping them achieve the potential that they all have. Lets give them the support to accomplish the goals of passing that class, bringing up that grade, Then graduating and moving on to a better future. With our support all things are possible.
