My Research Project On Nail Polish

During my research project I figured out that nail polish was created in 3000 B.C. by the Chinese. Another thing I found out while doing my research project is that nail polish is made out of beeswax, gelatin, gum Arabic, and egg whites and some include vegetable dyes. There is also some nail polish that is made out of butyl acetate, xylene, toluene, and formalin. Nail polish has changed over the years because of when automobile paint was created around 1920, it inspired the introduction of colored nail enamel. Also another change in nail polish were the ingredients used to make it. the ingredient that was added was nitrocellulose and is now a main ingredient in modern day nail polish. Nail polish was used to be used to indicate wealth and social status. Those are some things I learned about nail polish during my research project.
