PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good Afternoon, Hidden River Community!
We hope the stretch of warm weather is lifting your spirits as we approach the final month of our school year.
We are incredibly proud of all of our students' efforts the past two weeks during the Math and ELA SBA tests. Students clearly did their best and have adapted to a lot of adjusted schedules around here to allow for state testing to be completed.
This next week, our 8th graders will be taking the Science test during their science class periods (Tuesday / Wednesday).
If your student was absent or has not quite completed their state testing, we will be working with them to finish up starting Thursday, 5/18/23.
Thanks for your support and partnership. Have a great weekend!
Jonathan Judy
Principal

MSD STUDENT & FAMILY SPRING SURVEY
We have partnered with Panorama, an educational research organization, to learn more about our students’ and families’ views of the climate and culture in our schools. We will be using Panorama’s survey tool to gain an understanding of the thoughts and feelings of students in grades 3-12 related to self-efficacy, self-management, social awareness, sense of belonging and support, and expectations for their learning. Students in grades 6-12 will also answer questions related to their experiences with cultural and racial diversity in our schools.
Families of our students will also receive a survey that will focus on roles and responsibilities related to school success, perceptions on school climate, student learning behaviors, barriers to student engagement, family efficacy to support student development, family engagement in the school, and school fit.
A list of example questions can be found here:
Please know that if your children attend multiple schools in the district, we would appreciate it if you could complete a family survey for each school.
