Return to remote learning for Octo 7!

Hopefully Lancers got a well-deserved break and are are all set up learning remotely until otherwise directed. As of Monday, April 19th, 2021 all students in Ontario will be staying at home, but school continues! Make sure students are connected with their Octo 7 teachers asap and have everything they need.

We are committed to doing everything we can to make remote learning as engaging and meaningful as possible for our students. It is imperative that students continue to participate in their courses in order to meet the course expectation. LCVI will continue to offer the same supports it does in person, to those online, to the best of our ability. Please don't hesitate to reach out to the classroom teacher if you have any questions. Our student services department is available for online meetings which can be booked at On that same booking site, appointments can be made with our Adolescent Care Worker.

Students were allowed to access devices to take home before the April break. If you still require a device, please call the school and we will try to arrange pick up for you.

In the meantime, stay safe and be well.

Big picture

Class of 2021 Graduates!

What a year!

We are doing our best to make meaningful graduation plans for you all. With the current pandemic situation as it is, we cannot make firm plans until we know what guidelines we are working under. We will keep you up-to-date!

If you applied to college or university for the fall, your most recent marks will be updated by April 23rd, 2021.

OSAP applications for the 2021-2022 school year are still not open, but once they are, Ms. Dupuis will host an information session to teach you about the process.

If you have accepted an offer to a college or university, make sure you keep up with their due dates and communications. Schools will start requiring deposits to their programs in May and June. You should also make sure you are applying to residences when available.

And, as always, feel free to make an appointment with Student Services if you have questions or need assistance with anything.

Good luck on your last two octos!
