Week two was short but full of great things this week!!! Our Kindergarteners received their Class of 2035 t-shirts!!! I had a chance to play some soccer with the 5th graders and I will have to say they definitely have some skill.

Next week on Tuesday, all of our 3rd Graders will be taking the Begining of Grade reading assessment. This is a baseline assessment that is used to determine their growth from the beginning of the year to the end in reading. Please encourage your student not to stress about this assessment as it is only seeing what they know right now.

I am hoping to begin the process of creating a Parent Advisory Group and I would love any and all who are interested to join me on October 6th for our first meeting. My hope is to begin to create a partnership with our families to continue to grow our school for the betterment of our students. If interested you simply need to show up!

Kindergarten Field Trip: The kindergarteners will be going to Stepp Orchard. Any families that would like to join are welcome but we ask that you contact your student's teacher if you plan to join them.
