Haslet Elementary
Counselor's Corner
Happy Fall!
We have had such an amazing beginning to this 2018-19 school year! I want you to know a little about myself. This is my 4th year as the counselor at Haslet Elementary and my 11th year as a counselor with NISD.
I enjoy spending time with my family, quilting, reading and traveling. I look forward to working with your child this year. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at (817) 215-0893.
First Guidance Lessons
My first guidance lessons with the students have been focused on getting to know what the counselor does and how to request to see the counselor. We are also be working on the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Students will practice this throughout the school year.
September and October focus on healthy choices and bullying prevention in guidance.
Upcoming Events
Red Ribbon Week is October 22nd-26th. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to support a visible commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life. More information will be sent out as we get closer to this date.
