School News

From the School Principal

Good afternoon Talley Street Community,

I hope everyone had a nice break! I would like to share a traffic reminder, Talley Rally schedule change and great news about the Talley Chess Team:

Traffic Reminder

We are seeing a growing number of cars trying to make left hand turns out of the school parking lot during drop off and dismissal. Please remember that only right hand turns are allowed into the school's parking lot during morning and afternoon dismissal.

Talley Rally Schedule Update

We will NOT have Talley Rally this Friday, February 28th. We will be kicking off the Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) program with our students on Friday morning.

I received some exciting news over the break. The Talley Street Chess Team participated in the GCA 2020 East Metro Atlanta K-8 Team Qualifier Tournament over break. The tournament had 170 players. Talley's team won 5th place in the youngest age bracket. Congratulations to the following students for this accomplishment!
