St. John Nepomuk Catholic School
Mission Statement
**IMPORTANT** News from the Principal
I am excited to share that renovations began in the church this past week. While this is an exciting time to see some much needed updates occurring where we worship, our school mass routines will change slightly in this process. Beginning tomorrow, SJN students and others attending Friday school masses will gather for mass in the SJN PAC Gymnasium. The gym will transform each Thursday evening to prepare for Friday mass. This should not disrupt our morning assembly or arrival procedures.
Please see the image below with information to access the building if you plan to attend mass. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Czech Parade Information
Dear SJN Parents,
The Czech Parade is on Saturday, October 6th. St. John Nepomuk Catholic School will have a float again this year in the parade. Students are welcome to walk along with the float. Kindergartners will be riding on the float. The SJN Spirit Squad will also represent our school. School Faculty/Staff, Parents, grandparents, family members, St. John sports coaches, and all supporters of our parish family and school are encouraged and welcome to participate. We will be gathering in the school gym at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 6th. We will need as many adults as possible to help the students before, during and at the end of the parade route. All students MUST be picked up at the end of the parade route, at 4th and Maple. Each child is required to turn in a signed permission form to participate in the parade. Paper copies of the form are being sent home with students. You may also download the form HERE. Failure to complete this form in its entirety will necessitate that your student not attend the activity. No written notes or phone calls granting permission will substitute for this form.
Sincerely,
Natalie Johnson

Auction Information
Hello, SJN friends! We hope your school year has gone off without a hitch & we are so grateful to be once again surrounded by the best group of families! Our auction committees are off to a big start & preparations for our annual Spring Gala are in high gear! However, it’s no secret that we can’t do it without YOU! We have big plans for our Night in Old Havana & lots of super exciting events even before auction night! From our upcoming donations drives & Trivia Night to family Bingo Night, we know this year is going to be incredible! The new formatting for auction free dress days has been wildly successful & we thank you all so much for your gracious support! Don’t forget, this year, you can also “Send Your Teacher to the Auction!” This is an open donation amount & helps us offset any costs to give our hard-working teachers (and their spouses!) a much needed night out!
If you are looking for ways to snag those Care and Share hours, we are still needing a chairperson for our Ads/Sponsorships committee! This is a year round commitment & will fulfill all of the Care and Share requirements. If you want to help, but can’t commit to a year-round position, we would love to have you join us for some other volunteer needs! From helping our acquisitions team gather donations to decorations, set-up, & clean-up, there are many ways to contribute to our best night of the year! Email us at sjnokauction@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering or have any questions!
