News from Mrs. Mankin
We are embarking upon a new learning journey for the next few weeks, but we want to assure you that we will work with you and your student to create a flexible eLearning experience. Classroom teachers will be communicating with you either via Canvas or another digital tool. Please know that we care about your student and will do our best to support him/her throughout this experience. To clarify, we have eLearning for the weeks of 3/16 and 3/23. Your student will receive assignments for these days. We are using 3/30-4/2 as waiver days approved by the state. There will not be assignments during this time. Spring break begins on 4/3 and will continue through 4/10. We look forward to connecting in-person with your student on 4/13.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and collaboration during this time!
Sincerely,
Lori Mankin
School Calendar Change
In light of Governor Eric Holcomb’s request to slow the spread of COVID-19, Hamilton Southeastern Schools will close for students starting Monday, March 16 through Thursday, April 2. We will use a combination of eLearning and waiver days granted by Holcomb. We recognize how challenging this situation is for some of our families, students, and staff. This decision was made after consultation with Hamilton County health officials and other Hamilton County schools.

If you've been like us, we've been anxiously awaiting the follow up to the documentary "Screenagers"! The wait is over...join us for Screenagers- The Next Chapter!!
Filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston takes the conversation around screens and teens to the next level with Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience—a film that examines the science behind teen’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.
Our event will be held on Monday, April 20th at Fishers High School. Just like events prior, seats will be free but MUST BE RESERVED!
Tickets can be reserved at www.fishersnextchapter.eventcombo.com. Doors will open at 6:00 pm with the film beginning at 6:30. We will have breakout sessions afterward for those wanting to talk more about specific topics and wanting additional tools and resources.
