Every Day Matters
Stanton Elementary 2021-2022 Volume 9
Welcome 2022
We hope that you all had a restful break and enjoyed some family time. We are so ready to see your child tomorrow and continue learning and growing every day.
- This semester we are going to start a new program that deals with social emotional learning, which has become an increased need in our world. I have included a link below to some parent information about the program. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email either myself or Mrs. Shafer.
- All bus riders, please review the expectations for bus behavior sent out today, 1-3-22.
- Tutorials will begin next week, so be looking for further information on who is needed to attend.
- Lastly, we want to remind you about our Buff Clinic. MCHD would ask that students wishing to be seen in the school clinic be enrolled at least 24 hours so that their enrollment is in our system. The link is provided below.

Counselor's Corner by Mrs. Shafer
January's Character Trait of the Month is FAIRNESS.
Check out this read aloud Fair is Fair by Sonny Varela below with your child. It is a great story that challenges the belief that "fair" means that everything has to be exactly the same-- but that rather fairness is everyone getting what they need. Discuss with your family the differences in need that each member has.
