Logging in at Home

Hello!! It's nice to connect with you again, even if we cannot see each other face to face. I want you to know that you can access your school account at home. Go to and click sign in. Type in your where it asks for an email. Your password is the same school password that you use at school. If you would like to see how to do this, please watch this video made by another librarian in our district, Stephanie Feist. Parents, if your child needs their username and password, please email me I will be sharing new ideas each week here, and I will also be adding some links and activities to each Google classroom/myMead account. My goal is not to overwhelm you. It is to give you a few more ideas for your week at home. Enjoy!!

4th-6th Graders

Build a rocket out of a water bottle for our rocket challenge.

Write a letter or make a card for someone that you can't visit right now.

Mad Libs with your family

  1. Write a simple 3-6 sentence story.

  2. Circle the words that you want your audience to replace.

  3. Make a list of what part of speech each word is: Noun, Verb, Adjective, Adverb, etc.

  4. Make it an electronic Mad Lib that your family can complete.

  5. Laugh at your silly story.
