What is a conductor?
Conductors are materials that allow electric charge to move through it as an electric current. Some examples are copper, aluminum, and gold.
More Info On Conductors
An object made of a conducting material will permit charge to be transferred across the entire surface of the subject. Conductors allow for electrons to be transported from particle to particle. Metals make good conductors because the outer electrons of their atoms are loosely attached, and the electrons can drift through the metal when a voltage is applied.
