Argyle Middle School's One-Act Play Takes First Place
How about a standing ovation for Argyle Middle School's One-Act Play! AMS earned first place overall at the UIL One-Act Play Middle School Invitational last weekend. In addition, AMS took first place overall for Best Tech Crew. The One-Act Play was These Shining Lives, which they performed last week for the community at AMS.

CX DEBATE...DISTRICT CHAMPS!
The Argyle High School Cross-Examination Debate team won the district title last week! In the process, they qualified multiple Eagles for the UIL state competition in March.
Senior Tristan Ball will be making his fourth consecutive trip to the UIL state competition. Here is the list of the results:

COVID-19 Cases - Reporting & Dashboard
Argyle ISD is providing a COVID-19 dashboard to keep parents, staff, students and the community aware of the positive case totals at the campuses. The dashboard is updated by 6 p.m. each school day. The numbers are based on only cases confirmed through documentation with campus nurses.

Meetings include allotted time for public comment. Argyle ISD also provides a live stream of regular meetings available on the district's YouTube channel. Click here to view.

The state wrestling tournament will be held Feb. 18-19 at the Berry Center in Cypress. Click here to see the bracket.
The regional qualifiers included: Ashlynn Doyle, Jade Hernandez, Emilia Hernandez, Tenesan Nanna, Collin Griffeth, Kenny Chapman, Logan Murdock, Milton Conner, Cole Murguia Mosley, Connor Smith, Corey Puckett and Trenton Kelly.
Also earning state honors was wrestler Corey Puckett, who was named Academic All-State Second Team.
