SRES TRANSITIONS TO FULL SCHOOL DAYS WITH RESTRICTIONS - 4/6/21

We look forward to having all students on campus for full days according to the schedule below starting Tuesday, April 6, 2021 (students do not have school on Monday, April 6). All health and safety protocols will remain in place.


Please review the school expectations below with your student(s) and please let your teacher(s) know if you have any questions.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP @ SRES

All of the same protocols will remain in place for drop-off and pick-up as we return on April 6. We will just have double the traffic. Please be patient and safe during these times. Please follow all of the rules of the road in order to ensure safety.


Be sure to remind students on bikes/scooters/skateboards to walk when entering campus (including sidewalks) and to always properly wear a helmet.

RVC LUNCH PICK-UP CHANGE STARTING APRIL 6!

The RVC and community members will only be served at THREE locations beginning 4/6/21. Nutrition Services Flyer Please call 916-624-1112 , ext 1 if you have further questions.


SVMS, RHS, and WHS

Mon 10:30-11:00

T-F 11:30-12:00


SRES will not be serving Take & Bake lunches for the remainder of the year.

LIBRARY RULES:

Please make sure students return to school with their library books after spring break. Since we will be returning to a regular schedule, the library will be enforcing its traditional rules of :

TK-1st grade students- 1 book checkout

2nd-6th grade students- 2 book checkout

No checkout for a student with an overdue book

Inside California Education Show To Air April 21 at 7:30 p.m. on KVIE


Inside California Education is a public television series that explores the challenges, issues, and stories of public education. The show that is set to air Wednesday, April 21, 2021, offers an insider’s perspective on how The Monterey Bay Aquarium partners with California educators to bring virtual life science into the virtual classroom for students while learning from home during the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic.


Katy Scott, STEM Integration Manager at the Monterey Bay Aquarium virtually teaches 4th-grade students from teacher Rebecca Marquez-Cihak’s class at the Rocklin Virtual Campus.

Flower Power Fundraiser

Our students are the top priority at Sunset Ranch Elementary. Every year we strive to bring the best in academic and extracurricular activities to our Coyotes with your support. We are very pleased to launch a unique fundraiser by Flower Power, which offers high-quality bulbs, seeds, and berries. Not only are they great for you, but they also make terrific gifts. 50% of the proceeds will go to fund a variety of programs such as the garden, the library, Pawsitive rewards, and so on.
