Covington Place Newsletter
September 27, 2015, For Residents of Covington Place
NOTICE: The POOL CLOSES for the 2015 SEASON at 10:00pm TODAY, Sunday, September 27th. This is the last day of the 2015 Pool Season! See you next May!
NEIGHBORHOOD YARD SALE THIS SATURDAY, OCT. 3rd!
Residents who wish to participate need to place balloons on their mailboxes and set up in their own garage and/or driveway. There will be signs at each of the 3 entrances plus Ads in both local Newspapers.
NOTE: Early shoppers often start arriving as early as 7:00am, so if you have your garage door open you could have shoppers that early.
ONE SIGN ALLOWED PER YARD - ONLY ONE PLEASE!
Also signs are not allowed to be placed on Common Areas such as subdivision entrances, parks, the pool parking lot, the play ground, etc. Any signs placed in these areas will be removed immediately.
NO DUMPING ALLOWED ON ANY PRIVATE PROPERTY!
Please, do not allow either of these to take place anywhere in our neighborhood and especially on Vacant Lots and Common Areas:
1 - Pet Waste - You are responsible for disposing of your pet's waste properly.
2 - Yard Waste - You are responsible for disposing of your yard waste according to City Guidelines.
We have vacant lots in Eagles Pointe and High Lake Terrace, so please do not contribute to dumping of any kind on any of these lots. Just because there is a vacant lot doesn't mean it's OK to dump on it. Every lot has an owner who hopes to sell it and your waste on their lot does not improve it's chances of selling. Also, landscapers will not pick up your yard waste when they come to cut vacant lots.
We are the premier and most desirable swim/tennis/golf neighborhood in Newton and Rockdale Counties and we all need to do our best to keep it that way. Please, NO DUMPING!
