Medication at School
Any medication brought into school must be in its original container with the students name on it. This includes any over the counter medications such as Cough drops, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc. Cough drops or pain meds MUST be age appropriate, for example: No adult Tylenol, etc. for children under 12 unless you have a doctor’s order for it.
In the case of prescription medication, it MUST be accompanied by the physician’s prescription. Medication is only administered at school if it is required DURING school hours. Parents must bring the medication to the office and fill out a Medication Administration Form in order for medicine to be dispensed to the student. A medication form must be completed for EACH medication left at school.
If you have any questions, please call the office at (503) 431-4600. Thank you!
