Third Grade Physical Fitness Challenge
We had another great Physical Fitness Challenge this year with the top third graders in each fitness category competing against Mr. Meurer. Of course, the kids won! Across the grade level, Mrs. Cimorelli and Mr. Yates saw all students make personal improvements to their times and scores from when they started the fitness unit! Way to stay fit, BF!
Legos at Lunch
Many thanks to Mrs. Krisak, the PTO, and all of you for donating legos! Our kids have enjoyed them as an activity on indoor recess days. They have been a great addition to the movement videos and coloring opportunities we have during this time!
Ben Visits BF for his Birthday
Ben Franklin had a lot of on his birthday by visiting everyone's classrooms and wandering the halls of the school. Ben had some extra fun this year by riding on a few buses to and from school.
Third Graders Skype with Taiwan Sister School
Ben Franklin continues to have a partnership with our sister school in Taiwan. Recently, third graders in Mrs. Schmidt's class worked with Mrs. Muzi and Mrs. Offery to participate in a Skype session. The kids from both countries introduced themselves through games and fun, presented information about significant places in our countries, and held a Q&A session. As usual, the students had a great time and learned so much from this experience.
